It's A Process
Hey… so I am just a girl in this world…And sometimes it is very hard.
Mental health has been something I have felt deeply in my heart. I’ve wanted to talk about it for years but never knew the right way to go about it. The story has been a long and hard process to convey and it has been so stigmatized that I felt as though I am not good enough…but I am.
Walking through life can be very difficult, but I’ve found that we can do it with others who love on us and empower us to do great things. We all have potential and we all have the drive, we just need some help sometimes. With empowering women for mental health we can see the world through a different view.
As far as I go, I have struggled with mental health for about three or four years now. It has not been easy and I have wanted to stop fighting sometimes but other people have stepped up and helped me find a better way to handle my emotions.
I believe when we get together and help on another, we can change our mindsets in order to help each other. That is why I have joined #TheLydiaInitiative! So as I sit here writing this, I ask myself how can I ask for help? How can I be vulnerable and how can I help others as well? My journey is still ongoing but I wanted to let others know that they are not alone in this world. That there is a reason and a purpose you are still here, and we are so happy you are here.
Sincerely Your Friend,
McKenna
